This organisation helps the Karen people who live in Myanmar close to the border with Thailand.

The Karen people are a minority in Myanmar that have been discriminated against and have been subject to attacks from the ruling military junta.

Safe Water for Every Child Myanmar was started by friends of the Karen refugees who have settled in the Nhill community in Western Victoria.
