Our closest partner to Ukraine, Prague based Disaster Aid Europe, has been in contact with Ukrainian Rotarians since the begining of the Crisis, to find out what they need.
They have also been collecting goods from other Rotarians across Europe, and our other Disaster Aid Partners.
Over the past 3 weeks Disaster Aid has shipped 3 SkyHydrants and sent $10,000 to Disaster Aid Europe, to assist in locally purchasing other needed items.
Earlier this week Disaster Aid Europe set off to an emergency warehouse in Kosice, Slovakia, loaded with supplies.
This is likely to be the first of many supply trips over the coming weeks!
From Kosice the good were immediatly transferred to vans to take the goods over the border .
The vans are driven by Ukrainian Students who deliver the aid to Rotarians in Uzhorod who mange the distribution.
