Water System Repair in Honduras

The water supply system of La Mata de Plátano Village in Honduras, was destroyed by hurricanes Eta and Iota in late 2020.

Villagers hard at work building a new dam

Comayagua Rotary Club is helping the villagers restore the system with international support, from many Rotarians, led by our partner Disaster Aid Canada.

DAA, as part of their program of helping their trusted partners during the COVID travel restrictions, is also supporting the villagers.

The Completed Dam

With the new dam in place more work is still needed to repair broken pipes.
